In AX, lead time could be set up on product master, site-specific order setting or at trade agreement.
Purchase coordinator could specify a Lead time on an item, site-specific order setting or trade agreements. Purchase coordinator can update lead time on item periodically. (suggested; Monthly).
In Site Specific Order Setting:
Path: Product Information Management >> Select required item >> Manage Inventory >> Order Setting >> Site Specific Order Setting.
1. Open Purchase Order Tab
2. Click on Override Checkbox.
3. Enter the data in Lead Time Field under other Field group.
In Trade Agreement:
Path: Procurement and Sourcing >> Common >> Vendors >> All Vendors.
1. Now select a vendor and Click Procurement header tab >> Agreements >> Trade Agreements.
2. Now Click New to create a new journal and click lines in trade agreement journals form.
3. Now Purchase coordinator can mention the lead time in the footer of the trade agreement journal lines form.
4. Now close the form to save changes.
